Chrep graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. After college she gained valuable experience working as a behavioral therapist for several years. Her clients had a wide range of disabilities including autism and ADHD. She then spent five years teaching Kindergarten at a charter school in Lowell. After that she continued as a behavioral therapist in private and public schools. Most recently, she was a family advocate at Centerboard, providing families with access to many services including housing and financial support. Last year she received her Life Coach certification.

Dr. Abdool received her medical degree from Howard University in Washington DC where she also received her PhD in Microbiology with an emphasis in immunology. She completed her predoctoral work at the She completed her medical residency training in Psychiatry at the Brigham and Women’s, Harvard Medical School Psychiatry Residency Program. She went on to complete certification in the Harvard Program in Refugee Trauma and Global Mental Health.
Dr Abdool founded Beryllium Psychiatric Services upon the premise that healing must occur in the individual, the family and the community.
